BWC Lab is located in Tempe, Arizona. Family owned and operated since 1987. We specialize in custom fine art digital photographic printing as well as traditional black & white processing and printing.

We started in 1987 as a traditional custom black & white processing and printing lab in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Over the years our customers have come to rely on our quality work, customer service and affordable prices.

The photo industry has made huge changes in the last decade. Because of our experience we’ve adapted to the changes and are now able to offer fine art black & white as well as color digital imaging. Along with those changes has come a new look and a new logo to better express our expanded services. Black & White Lab became Black & White & Color also known as BWC Lab.

We pride ourselves in being a very customer oriented lab. Whether it’s a 5x7 or an entire gallery show, we work one on one with all of our customers, amateur and professional alike. We want to ensure that you get exactly the print you envision. We stand behind all our work.

Traditional B&W will always be near and dear to our hearts. We’re one of the few labs left that offers black & white darkroom processing and printing. However we’re thrilled to be on the cutting edge of digital imaging technology and all the exciting new services we’re able to offer. Come in and see for yourself. Tom studied photography at Columbia College in Chicago during the early 1970's. He discovered early on his passion for the darkroom, while also an avid photographer.

Marjan graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in secondary art education in 1980. Her studies also included photography and darkroom techniques. She brings with her great communication skills as well as darkroom skills.

As the photography industry has changed so have we. Tom continues to provide the strong analog processing and printing of traditional black and white, which he is so well known for. Marjan is always working to stay up to date with the latest in digital technology and handles all of the digital scanning, retouching and printing. Marjan is also the designer and web master that takes care of the web sites.

Together Tom & Marjan make a great team. Their combined talents have been providing professional darkroom services on a commercial level since 1987. They have no employees and do all the work themselves. This enables them to give each customer the one on one service they feel is so important.
