Tom studied photography at Columbia College in Chicago during the early 1970's. He discovered early on his passion for the darkroom, while also an avid photographer.

Marjan graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in secondary art education in 1980. Her studies also included photography and darkroom techniques. She brings with her great communication skills as well as darkroom skills.

As the photography industry has changed so have we. Tom continues to provide the strong analog processing and printing of traditional black and white, which he is so well known for. I work on staying up to date with the latest in digital technology and handle all of the digital scanning, retouching and printing. I also created this web site and maintain it.

Together Tom & I make a great team. Our combined talents have been providing professional darkroom services on a commercial level since 1987. We have no employees , we do all the work ourselves. This enables us to give you the one on one service we feel is so important.

There are always challenges when you live in a remote area, we do the best we can. We don't have regular land lines so our phones are cellular, using antennas and boosters to get the best signal we can. So if the sound isn't the best, that's why.

We use satellite connections for our internet and have had no problems with good upload and download speeds.

Because we are a 40 minute drive from Prescott we try to make our trips as economical as possible. We generally schedule trips to town for dropping off and picking up orders on Tuesday's and Friday's.

Our shipping address listed below in the footer is a secure air conditioned location in Prescott. We can accept US Postal mail, UPS, Fed Ex and truck shipments to that location. There is always someone there to sign for any packages.
