Q: What border choices do I have when printing from a negative?
A: We have many different border choices available for you. The following are some examples to help you make your selection. Not all borders are available for all negatives. Please read the description that accompanies each example.

Borderless :
full paper or full bleed
- All negatives can be printed borderless
- Some negatives will need cropping to make them fit the paper size
- Not available on Fiber Base paper

1/8" white border :
small border full paper
- All negatives can be printed with 1/8" border
- Some negatives will need cropping to make them fit the paper size

1/4" white border :
standard border full paper
- All negatives can be printed with 1/4" border
- Some negatives will need cropping to make them fit the paper size

Full frame : white border
- The example shows full frame
from a 35mm neg.
(no cropping)

Fine line black border :
- Available from a full frame negative.
(no cropping)
- The fine line black border comes from the outer clear edge of a negative so it has to be printed full frame.
- Example is from a
35mm neg.

Rough edge black border :
- Available from full frame 35mm neg. and 2 ¼ negative. (no cropping)
- Sometimes refered to as a Sloppy Border
- Example is from a
35mm neg.
