What paper should I use for RC prints?
A: We offer three different RC paper surfaces.
We use Ilford Multigrade IV RC paper
(1) Glossy : high gloss surface
- Used primarily for press release photos or prints being copied.
- Gives the appearance of being sharper.
- Shows fingerprints
(2) Pearl : semi gloss - light sheen surface
- This is a wonderful all around paper that works well for portrait prints,
art prints for display, or portfolio prints.
- Does not show fingerprints
(3) Matte : flat matte surface
- This paper works well for retouching or handcoloring.
- The paper has a slight tooth to it and works with marshal oils and pencils.
- Does not show fingerprints
- Economical alternative to Fiber Base prints for handcoloring

What paper should I use for Fiber Base prints?
A: We offer three different Fiber Base paper surfaces.
(1) Glossy : luster surface not a high gloss
- This is a wonderful paper that works well for portrait prints, gallery, exhibition, or portfolio
use.
- Excellent tonal rendition
- Can be Selenium Toned for optimum archivalness
- Does not take Brown Tone well
(2) Matte : flat matte surface
- Used for retouching or handcoloring.
- Cool image color
- Excellent tonal rendition
- Can be Brown Toned but will not tone as well as the Warm Tone Matte

(3) Warm Tone Matte : flat matte surface
- This paper has a warm image color with a creamy white base giving it the
appearance of being slightly toned
- Used for retouching or handcoloring.
- Takes toning very well
