A: Roll numbers are used to help us keep track of who's film belongs to whom. We also need roll numbers when you're placing an order and there is more then one roll of film that you are ordering from.
When you have film processed at our lab you'll find the roll number, a 4-digit number, written on the back of your contact sheet or on the cover of your Photo CD. If you have develop only rolls of film we leave the twin check 4 digit number on the end of the roll of film.
The roll number corresponds to the same number given the negatives.
If your
film was not processed at our lab you may or may not have a roll number. If
your film does not have a roll number, you may want to assign a number or a letter to each of the rolls
to be able to distinguish which roll you are ordering from. Write the
number or letter somewhere on the negative sleeve. Be careful not to write on the
negatives.
