Q: What is the best way to ship black & white film?
A: We always recommend that you send film in either a padded
envelope or in a small box.
If
you are shipping 35mm film we recommend that you put the rolls of film in their
original plastic canisters for extra protection. Do not send 120 film
in a unpadded envelope, there is a chance the spool will be broken and
this can cause fogging of the film.
To avoid the possibility of loosing a roll
in the event that your package is damaged and breaks open we also recommend that you put all of your rolls of
film in a ziploc bag along with your order form. This way if the envelope tears or the box rips,
all of the film will stay together with your name and address as well as our name and address.
Another tip for keeping your rolls together is to put a return address sticker on each roll of film. This is great way to prevent any film loss if your packaging is damaged.
