Hand Tinted
Black & White Photography
Karen was born and raised in a small town
in Maryland. Her first job at an antique shop spawned an interest in
black and white photography. She loved the look of old hand tinted
photos. After taking a class in handcoloring she began photographing her
own children and through word of mouth, Precious Days Photography was
born.

Karen chose South Florida
as her home in 1988 and it has been a perfect back drop for her work. Her
love of yesteryears has led her to collecting lots of great props and
vintage clothing for her shoots.
